On the fifth day of Christmas

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/cab/13988927/files/2014/12/img_2389.jpgThe fifth day of Christmas gave me SLEEPINESS.

I’m not sure whether it’s the weather or teething or a growth spurt or just no reason at all, but my little Snugglepot was up in the wee small hours this morning and, therefore, so was I. I had a few things to do this morning so Granny took a shift of babysitting. When I got home, both Snugglepot and I were so tired we took a nap.

She’s an absolute angel for sleeping…and eating and pretty much everything. So this little change in routine is quite uncharacteristic. I’m curious to see what develops from it. Ultimately, I find it’s best to just read her cues and be flexible and go with it.

I’m not really feeling the blogging vibe tonight so I might just leave it at that and pray for a better night’s sleep soon.
